Final Exam

Weebly Website

Favorite Blog Post -This is my favorite blog posts because it was the first one we did this year and the beginning of what we had to use for the rest of the semester when going out to shoot. Light.

I like many photos that I've taken this semester so picking a favorite is tough. But for some reason i choose this photo to be a great one because you can find different meanings to this. For some it could only be a photo of benches but if you use your artistic eye and imagination you can find this photo of benches to be meaningful in life, a metaphor contributing life some how. By the way that bench just ruins the pattern of the some what straight line they're in, can release a sense of difference in the world, an idea of removing yourself from the same routine and being an outcast to a bunch of the same personalities there is around you. And i can relate to that.

Best photo? Im not sure, I have a few that I personally think are good but I was well satisfied with how this one in particular came out. I was always a great fan of dept of field even when I didn't know the name of this composition rule. Its probably a good photo because it involves a bit of depth of field, a bit of symmetry, and a bit of pattern. In one photo.

Three advantages and disadvantages

* Practice people skills
*Have more practice while helping others
*Having fun in a group and not individual boring work

*Less productive
* Distracting
*Annoying

Phrase from Life magazine founder

"Picture essay?" "Picture Picture Picture"
I really have no clue haha

Thank you for time and patience with this us and the class, you've been a great provider. My knowledge of photography improved and I will continue practicing with what I've learned so far. We may see each other in the near future. Farewell Farely

Final Group Project: Shoes

 This photograph contains the composition rule of Rule of Thirds and Avoiding the Middle by focusing on the legs and and shadow that is portrayed by the sun. It is seen at angle which makes it more superior and also easier to spot the shadow.
 In this different photograph the Element of Art: Patterns is contributed with the concept of capturing the light and shadow. The use of the table implants a pattern on the floor on top of another pattern on the ground itself. The shadows of people in the photograph gives it a curious appeal wondering who the people might be.
 Emerald Huey relaxing during a warm evening, comfortable in her attire and the position she's in creating a shadow in the back along with the tables. Set in an angle and got low to make the shadow noticeable.
Depth of Field was a composition rule utilized here as well as attempting to capture the shadow created in the back. A close up was necessary to get the shot right for effect.

In this particular photo i decided to break the rules a bit. I liked how my black jeans look darker because of the sun and creates a slanted shadow rather then your usual front, back , and side shadow. It could of been better composed with composition rules and elements but you have to be a rebel here and then when it comes to photography.

My 5 favorites

 Lightspeed
The reason for why I like this picture is because it was my first time experimenting with a slower shutter speed and capturing the lights of the cars speeding through the freeway. My intentions were to do just that.

 Black and Orange
I chose this picture as one of my favorites because the colors black and orange really pop and it relates to the hat which is also black and orange, the main colors for the San Francisco Giants, where i shot this photo.

 Bay Area, San Francisco Ca

 Gramps
My grandfather is one of the most caring, funny and hardworking men i know and it is why i chose this as my favorite photo. It reveals his hardworking skills, the black and white gives it an "old" type of theme and his face expressions show how serious he could be.
